Hi
I'm Sophie, or Sof, and I have a deep admiration for the human body. Not just for how it works, but for how it continually adapts to our surroundings, our circumstances and the demands we place on it.
Over the years, my work has evolved, and so has my understanding of what it means to look after ourselves. I've become increasingly interested in the many things that influence how we feel, how we move and how well we cope with everyday life.
Our health isn't shaped by one thing alone. It's influenced by what we eat, how we sleep, how much we move, the stress we carry, the lives we lead and the environment around us. Sometimes we know exactly what we need. Other times, we're so busy getting on with things that we don't stop to notice what's out of balance.
This is where my different areas of work come together.
My background in Ayurveda has shaped the way I think about health and wellbeing. I value its traditional, whole-person approach and the importance it places on bringing ourselves back into balance. It's something I believe in deeply and draw on in my own family life, as well as in my work.
My massage practice has also grown to include Sports Massage, which allows me to explore a different side of the body: how we move, how we adapt to physical demands, and what might be contributing when things aren't working quite as they should.
Alongside this, my background in Health Coaching has strengthened my belief that supporting our wellbeing isn't simply about knowing what might help. It's about understanding what matters to each individual, what their life looks like right now, and what changes are realistic for them.
I don't believe there's one formula for good health, or that everyone needs the same things. Sometimes we need time to rest and be looked after. Sometimes we need practical help with a physical problem. Sometimes we need a fresh perspective to help us see the bigger picture.
My approach is to listen, stay curious and work with you to understand what you need, rather than assume I already have the answer.
Because looking after ourselves isn't about getting everything perfect. It's about understanding ourselves a little better and finding ways to support our health and wellbeing that work in real life.
