At first it feels great. You’re moving more, feeling stronger. But slowly the tight shoulders creep in. Your calves start complaining. Your back feels stiff when you get up in the morning.

That’s where Sports Massage can help.

What to expect....
Your first Sports Massage session begins with a short consultation so I can understand what is going on in your body. We may talk about your training, daily activities, previous injuries or areas that feel tight or uncomfortable.
From there I may carry out a simple movement or posture assessment before beginning the massage. This helps me understand what may be contributing to the tension in your body, so we can look beyond the immediate sore area and begin addressing the underlying cause rather than simply treating the symptom.
The massage itself is more focused than a relaxation massage and may include deeper pressure or targeted work on particular muscles. That said, the treatment should always feel productive rather than overwhelming. We will work at a level that feels right for your body.
Many people leave feeling lighter, looser and with a greater sense of ease in their movement.
